Nature Morte’s inaugural pop-up show in Hyderabad, "Currents," is a dazzling convergence of fashion, design, and art, seamlessly blending these disciplines into a harmonious and innovative exhibition that pushes the boundaries of traditional categories. The event unfolds within a captivating space at the RMZ Nexity corporate park, where the ground floor’s forthcoming retail section is already celebrated for its monumental public art program, featuring striking works by Manish Nai and Manisha Parekh, which set a vibrant and thought-provoking stage for the exhibition inside. This unique show, on display until Sunday, August 18, 2024, features a diverse range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and fashion-inspired curiosities that blur the lines between art and design, exemplified by Bloni’s fully embroidered black bead jacket with molded metal shoulder pads for Karan Johar and Lorenzo Vitturi’s tactile wall installation.

At the opening event, the space was further enlivened by distinguished women leaders from philanthropy, healthcare, and contemporary art, who graced the occasion in futuristic saris and corsets, adding to the show's dynamic and eclectic atmosphere. The artworks presented are at once experimental and elegant, embodying a fusion of ease and complexity, complementing each other while also standing independently to contribute to a cohesive whole, reflecting the innovative spirit of this extraordinary exhibition.
