She was marrying the love of her life, but she worried if she would lose herself in the process. Or perhaps she would be transformed into another version of herself. What would this new her want? What would she prioritise? She did not know yet. All she could do was to live in this moment and enjoy every part of the process. She picked up a lone hibiscus from the vase before her and walked towards the dancefloor, where the party was just getting started. This was the beginning of the rest of her life. And she would be its auteur.
